Heartland Lutheran High School Athletics

As Heartland Lutheran High School participates in athletics, we must make sure as staff, student athletes, and parents that we do everything we can to imitate Jesus Christ (Philippians 2:1-11). This is extremely important to the student and parent as we look to develop our athletic skills to compete, but more importantly work toward the development of strong Christian men and women with the understanding that while we are in this world we are called to be a part of it, we are not of it and are called to a higher purpose (1 Peter 2:9-12, John 15:19, 1 John 2:15-17). There is no exceptions allowed, and it falls under the number one expectation for all of Heartland Lutheran High School athletics: Everything you do, do it for the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31, Colossians 3:17).
