Supporting Heartland Lutheran
From the beginning God has encouraged cheerful giving so that His work in the world may be done. Giving is a blessing to the giver because it helps us avoid the love of money and because we take pleasure in making a difference in people's lives. God then takes our gift of what He provided for us, and multiplies that gift among His people in ways we never could have dreamed possible. Heartland Lutheran High School and those who serve the Lord in this place have been blessed by you and people like you who are willing to give generously and sacrificially. “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corinthians 9:7
To God be the glory. Our school continues to be blessed by the support and giving of those who give from their heart to see the Lord's work done in Central Nebraska. Thank you! Thank you for being good, wise, and generous stewards of that which the Lord has blessed you and your family with. Without our friends and donors Heartland would not be able to serve Central Nebraska by offering a Christ-centered and rigorous educational opportunity.
There are many ways to give to Heartland Lutheran - through the Blue Cross Society, unrestricted cash gifts and pledges, a gift to a specific program, property and real estate donations, stock & bonds, and deferred gifts such as charitable gift annuities and naming Heartland Lutheran in your trust or will. Think about it. Pray about it. Consider making your tax-deductible gift to support Heartland Lutheran now. Find the way you want to give to support below!
Blue Cross Society - Annual Fund Giving
Tuition dollars cover about 40% of what it costs to educate a student at Heartland Lutheran High School. That means that Heartland Lutheran is truly a mission. It also means that each year, our administration and board of directors undertake an extensive budgeting process and make difficult funding decisions. These decision often mean lower pay for teachers and leaving exciting program for our students out of the plan for the next year.
Bottom line...we need your help in our annual fund to be able to do what is right for our students and staff! The Blue Cross Society is our annual giving group and it runs from July 1 - June 30 each year. Your gifts will build a vital source of funding for:
the development of new academic programs
enhancing our outstanding curricular offerings
providing professional development and training for our teachers
securing new technology
expanding community service projects
responding to emerging needs and urgent opportunities
Mark 10:14 - Tuition Assistance
"Let the little children come to me; Do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God."
Heartland Lutheran's Mark 10:14 Program (need-based Tuition Assistance Program) provides to students and families who might not otherwise be able afford the cost of a Christian education with financial aid for tuition. The struggles in the farm economy, along with it's continued turmoil, has created an urgent need for tuition assistance. Over 50% of our students we awarded tuition assistance through the Mark 10:14 program in the 2017-18 Academic Year,
Your support of the Mark 10:14 Program will allow any family seeking a faith-based education for their children to have that opportunity at Heartland Lutheran High School.
