Leading the Way

Heartland Lutheran is accredited by Cognia and through National Lutheran Schools Accreditation. We are also an Approved School by the Nebraska Department of Education under the State of Nebraska's Rule 14.

Heartland Lutheran provides excellence through a uniquely rigorous and supported curriculum designed to push and prepare students for success at the college level and in the workforce. Heartland Lutheran in collaboration with Central Community College and Concordia University-Wisconsin provides high-quality dual credit and college courses for our students to advance their education.

In recent years, 100% of our graduates have been accepted into a college or university and 98% of our high school graduates enrolled in college. Heartland Lutheran graduates can be found at some of the leading colleges and universities in the country, including:

Percent of graduates from the past five years have furthered their education beyond high school
Percent of graduates from the past five years have enrolled in a four year college or university
Percent of graduates from the past five years have enrolled at a two year college or vocational school
Percent of graduates that have entered the United States Armed Forces after graduation

Graduation Requirements

Graduates from Heartland Lutheran High School earn 270 credits during their four year Red Hornet career. The following are the minimum credit hours to be earned in each department.
